Living Aloha & Lei Making Workshop – Schaumburg, IL

Look inside, observe, and make choices that promote living fully.
The Hawaiian word for love is “aloha” and can be literally translated as “the joyful sharing of life.” Join Sarah Kawahinekōmakaninani Naniho’ohiapo Williams Psy.D. (Nani) for an in-person workshop exploring the profound knowledge and wisdom of Aloha. Learn how to “live aloha” every day and create a lei. A lei can be used to show love, friendship, celebration, honor, or greeting. In essence, a lei is a symbol of Aloha. Your lei will be a reminder of your connection to Aloha.
Learning to live in aloha can:
• Increase the flow of love and joy in ourselves
• Support the shedding of fears and self-doubts
• Increase confidence, spontaneity, and creativity by living life more fully
• Establish and maintain healthy, nourishing relationships
The workshop will include guided meditation, lecture, discussion, lei making, and ceremony with the leis.
All are welcome, no prerequisites.
